Thank you for being willing to spend some time looking at The Circular Leader app before its official release. Apart from the design and development teams, you're the first person in the world to get your hands on it.
Your feedback is critical to our success.
The following paragraphs tell you how to get the app and how to send us feedback. However, it doesn't tell you how to use the app. 🤔 If it's confusing or difficult to figure out, that's our problem and we REALLY want to hear about it.
The information below will form part of our FAQ's. If you can, please send us feedback on that as well: Is it clear? Does it answer all the potential questions you might think about? Is there anything else you'd like to share with us?

HOW DO I GET THE APP?
First, drop us a quick note at feedback@thecircularleader.com requesting the Early Look.
Second, you'll need an iPhone or iPad (Android devices and Macbooks are coming in a couple of months). BTW, you can install the app on more than one device; your login will work on both and your data is shared between them automatically.
Next, you'll receive an email invitation to join the beta test program. The email has a link to Apple's "Testflight" app. Download the app and it will install The Circular Leader app onto your device. You know what to do next! 😀
IMPORTANT NOTE: In order for this to work, please make sure that the email address you give us is the same one you use for your Apple ID.
HOW DO I SEND FEEDBACK?
You mission, should you choose to accept it, is to try out the app and send us ANYTHING you deem noteworthy: observations, problems, questions, suggestions.
Send them to us via:

When sending feedback, please provide as much information as you can including what led up to the anomaly or question e.g.
"I logged in, selected my team, selected 'See Results', scrolled down the Charts page, and the app quit." or
"I was in the Charts page on the Team & Health chart. I tapped 'Read more' and the screen didn't change.' or
"I don't like the background colour in the right pane."
WHAT IS THE APP'S PURPOSE?
56% (!) of the 41 million leaders (execs, managers, supervisors, team leads) in North America have NEVER received ANY leadership training. Another 33% were dissatisfied with their training often because it was out-of-date or tough to apply to their team or situation. That's a total of 36 million leaders with little or no training on how to lead people. 😱
We want to close that gap so that every leader can have personalised insights into what their team needs and how to support them.
The app improves a leader's ability to support their team's psychological health & wellness and performance in a structured, proven approach.
WHO IS THE APP FOR?
The app is designed for leaders or advisors who want to simultaneously support their team's health AND performance quickly and effectively.
More specifically, we want the app to reach:
- A person leading a single team
(regardless of their position in the organisation). The app allows them to do a pulse-check of their team (fast survey), see critical insights on 10 or more dimensions, and get context-specific explanations and suggestions on the topics they are most concerned about. Their team members don't need to download the app.
They can check their team's progress by running the pulse-check up to four times a year.
The leader receives leading edge insights tailored to their team and on-demand education and advice on how to better support them.
The app is free for these leaders. - Multiple people in the same organization, each of whom lead a single team.
For each leader the app works as in point 1 above. In addition, it shows how their team compares (anonymously) with other teams in their organisation who are also using the app.
These leaders learn a common approach to leadership that is rooted in the most modern research and practices. They can come together to share notes and support each other so they all become better leaders together.
The app is free for all of them. - Consultants, coaches, HR professionals
(people who work with multiple leaders in an organization or multiple leaders in multiple organizations). These people can run as many pulse-checks with as many teams in as many organizations as they wish. They are the only ones that need to download the app.
These professionals use a common language and a professional diagnostic tool to support their leadership development practice.
The app costs $199 per year for them. - Enterprise-level organizations
organizations with between 100 and 100,000 people who want to pulse-check their entire workforce, get enterprise-quality insights for executives, and instantly deliver team-based results to every one of their leaders at all levels.

HOW DOES THE APP WORK?
The app puts the power to assess and support your team and its performance in the palm of your hand. Here's how:
Ask. You'll use the app to send a short (5-6 minute) survey (pulse-check) to the people on your team that asks them about how they feel at work and their perspective on the team's performance potential.
See. You'll get a dozen charts, tailored to your team, that give you insights from multiple perspectives. You will better understand how your team is doing, how well they think they're performing, and where they need support.
Act. Every insight is clearly explained and comes with multiple ideas for how to better support your team, if needed.
Repeat. You can repeat the survey up to four times a year so you can see your progress and fine-tune where needed.
SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
Our experience undergoing security audits with very large organisations for similar products has allowed us to bake in security and confidentiality. Here's a summary of some important points:
- We don't give, trade, sell or otherwise share your data with any person or organisation.
- Your email address is encrypted and stored securely. We only use it during the login process.
- We never receive the names or email addresses of your team members so they are completely unknown to us.
- We always use aggregated data in our charts and reports; we never show an aggregated value where less than three people are used.
- Even if you have agreed to share your team's data with other leaders in your organization, we never show your team's name with other leaders—and we never show their team names to you.
- We don't ask for information that could personally identify somebody and, as stated above, charts only show aggregated data.
- Our databases are stored in the highly secured premises of one of the world's leading data centers.
- Finally, you can delete your account any time.
